Rick serves as an advisor to CIEL. Rick Pfeiffer brings 40+ years of experience as a senior executive and entrepreneur in banking, financial services and the energy industries. He has built and led businesses ranging from strategic start-ups, such as launching GE Capital’s India division to major corporate turnarounds at AIG Global Consumer Finance Group.
Rick worked for GE Capital in the U.S. and across the globe for 16 years, and subsequently was Chairman and CEO of AIG's Global Consumer Finance Group in New York. His most recent exit was SkipCart, a last mile delivery startup in the United States.
In 2008, Rick moved to Texas to get into the energy business. In Texas, he founded Creslen, a micro-refinery development company. Most recently, he founded and is the CEO of Texas Private Investment Capital, where he invests in energy and real estate projects.
Rick earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business of the University of Virginia.
