Keith Spears

Keith serves as an advisor to CIEL. He is the Vice President of Impact Investing at Tides, where he leads efforts to align the organization's mission of empowering underserved communities with its investment strategy, working with philanthropic partners and nonprofit leaders to enable over $700 million in annual grants to more than 3,500 nonprofits globally. Previously, as a General Partner at Include Ventures, Keith managed a $250 million fund of funds and co-investment platform focused on diverse and women-led fund managers and founders in sectors such as climate, education, and fintech.

With over two decades of experience in impact investing and private equity, Keith has held leadership roles at Hamilton Lane, Heritage Impact Partners, and Transom Capital Group, where he spearheaded fundraising efforts, sourced investment opportunities, and secured significant commitments from institutional investors like The California Endowment and CalPERS, consistently generating strong returns alongside social impact.

Prior to that, Keith held various leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse.
